Before the first treatment.
You must use Jan Marini pre-peel products 2 – 3 weeks prior to the first treatment and continue their use during a course of peels. It is recommended that these are the only products which you use.
This preparation of the skin is very important to the outcome of the resurfacing facial. Each peel enhances the subsequent one and the continued benefits are dependant on your daily skin care routine.
How to use the pre-peel products
Step one – Bioglycolic facial Cleanser/Bioglycolic OilyFacial Cleanser Use AM & PM
Use on dry skin then add a little water and massage into face and neck. Using wet face cloth remove all traces of product. Splash the skin with water 10 – 15 times .Avoid eye area.
Step Two – Bioglycolic Cream
Use every night for the first week, then in the second week use AM & PM. Apply sparingly to face and neck. Avoid the eye area.
Step Three – Daily Face Protectant SPF 30
Apply every morning as the last product before applying make up.
STOP using glycolic products 24 hours before Glycolic Acid Peel treatment.
When glycolic acid products are first used it is not unusual to experience tingling, flakiness or breakouts. These should settle with continued use.
